New Camera

I received a new digital camera from P this year for Christmas. I have taken many photos with it but today was the first day that I was able to play with it and figure out all of the features. D & J gave me a digital photography book for the holidays as well and it has proven to help. You can see more of my pictures at the bottom of my blog page. Remember there is not much color in January in Wisconsin so I had to use my imagination.

Christmas

Last Tuesday night I came home from a long day of work and P surprised me with a Christmas Tree. He set up and decorated a tree for our house.

Truffle Making Continued

So I asked P to make a truffle insert for the truffles made last weekend. I thought it was very well done and wanted to share it with everyone.

Snow

I miss Indiana for a few reasons. When I woke up this morning I thought of a new reason. Not only have I left friends behind I also left behind nicer weather. I think with the snow storm that we had last night there was at least double the total accumulation of snow that I saw in Indianapolis last year.

Studying

After a large snow storm last night driving into work was not an option that I wanted to pursue. I decided to work from home and get a little studying done (and some snow shoveling). During the afternoon I took a short break and when I came back to read some more Kilo had taken my place.

Truffle Making

Sunday was the annual truffle making day with my friends. We made about 1,000 truffles in about 8 hours. It is really a lot of fun when we all make them together.

Dance Class

Last week I was able to attend K & J dance class. K is in hip hop and J is in pre ballot. It was so much fun to watch them.
