RENT
Wonderful date yesterday. C&K, P& I went to Paul's Club prior to watching Rent at the Overture Center for the Arts. The movie was no match for this Broadway production. Many of the original cast members, I learned, actually did the movie as well. This is a compelling, emotional, and yet slightly comical production of young New Yorkers trying to succeed with only the clothes on their back and no place to live. I highly recommend this show, forget the movie! We followed the show with drinks at the Old Fashioned and dinner at Tutto Pasta. What a great day.
